A beautiful Empire Gueridon The circular white marble top with pierced ormolu gallery, the mahogany frieze with brass line inlay, supported on three simulated bronze and parcel gilt lion monopodiae decorated with anthemion, joined by a circular marble platform with ormolu gallery.



Circa 1805.

This unusually large and well designed centre table is typical of those produced in Paris in the first decade of the 19th century and relates to designs published by La Mésangère in 1802 in Meubles et produit de Goût.
